Crimson Moon Report #27 - February 9, 2011
Summary: Shadows appear and taunt the people in the park.

On February 9, the crimson moon and the shadow became active in the park. Various manifestations were observed, geared toward tapping into the fears and insecurities of those present. At first, a figure seeming comprised of shadow would appear to 'steal' the voices of others and use it to speak. On other occasions, caricatures of children also formed from shadows would speak with child-like voices.
Some of the people I am aware of who were targeted include:
Taeghan - unease about Ta'Vaalor's reception of his marriage
Myriamie - not allowing Taeghan to dissolve the marriage out of selfishness and making Taeghan vulnerable to the crimson moon by binding herself to him so he takes on her weaknesses
Shilarra - fears that she brought the crimson moon on everyone
Jaired - concern for Pip's welfare
Ero (as Lord Crimson) - unsure, though possibly his dual identity
The shadow also spoke at length of how the choices we make affect innocents and may put them in danger. Most people seemed to ignore it, though when Nilandia echoed the sentiment, the shadow noted how ironic it was that the Mentalist understood.
The shadow also spoke rather cryptically of future events, but I couldn't make any sense of them. A series of small child-like shadows danced around the area, chanting almost nonsensical snatches of rhymes and limericks, while another figure seemed to impale itself on the marble statue's shadow. As the shadows finally faded, Nilandia had brought out her lantern charm and opened only one pane to focus the beam on them. They shrieked in seeming agony as they fully dissipated.
