''Show'': Formed of a mosaic arrangement of saewehna in a rainbow of vibrant hues, the platinum stickpin has been fashioned to capture the colorfully-plumed visage of an island macaw. Each kaleidoscopic gem is blurred with veins of silver, enhancing the backdrop of platinum that serves as the setting for each gem. Minute etchings form the face and talons of the macaw, purposely understated to not take away from the intensity of the vivid saewehna.

The coral body is sharply contrasted by the bright orange sea glass used for the bird's long beak. The breast and throat of the toucan are shaped from frosted, snow white sea glass, balancing out the pin's design. Set in small disks of crimson sea glass, tiny black pearls serve as its eyes, which gleam faintly in the ambient light.

Bark and Bite

Sea Turtle Lane, map room 7
Lich room 19359
a crude wooden stick wagon with a thatched roof

[Bark and Bite, Entry]
Crafted from sticks lashed together, the walls of the rickety wagon have many gaps where fresh air from outside can waft in. The wooden plank floor is scattered with a layer of dirt and grime, and the glass-paned lanterns that hang from the thatch ceiling are covered with a layer of soot on two of the panes. In the center of this small entry room, a long wooden counter offers up refreshments for purchase, while at the back, an ivy-curtained archway leads deeper into the wagon.
Obvious exits: out

On the wooden counter you see a mug of wild nettle beer, a cup of hot apricot tea, a flute of oak leaf wine, a goblet of light cherry wine, a delicate robin's egg omelet, a bowl of crisp honey-drenched salad, a bowl of creamy mushroom soup, a stuffed fillet of trout, a warm almond fritter and a small loaf of acorn bread.

[Bark and Bite, Clothing]
Flanked on two sides by the loosely woven stick walls, the room is small and airy. An ivy-curtained archway dominates the foremost wall, while a crooked oak doorway resides at the back. Thickly layered, a leafy canopy obscures the thatch ceiling, and tiny orbs of glimaerstone dangle down, illuminating the area. A large constructed tree in the center of the room has low-hanging branches on which merchandise is displayed. Near the front, a polished oak rack and a lopsided chest hold several more items.
Obvious exits: none

On the low-hanging branches you see a dark leather backpack, a leaf-stitched forest green pack, a tightly woven grass rucksack, a loosely woven reed knapsack, an amber-beaded doeskin cape, a russet feather-woven apotla, a mist grey feather-woven apotl and a leaf-woven forest green cloak.

[Bark and Bite, Jewelry]
Small and cramped, this room lies at the very back of the wagon. The loosely lashed stick walls allow free air flow, preventing this room from being stuffy. A circular wooden pedestal resides in the center of the floor, with a miniature leafless tree and a small glass-paned case resting on top. Pieces of metal and jewels glint within the tree, reflecting the light of the lanterns. A crooked oak doorway on one wall leads out of the room, and a low wooden bench sits beside it.

Brews and Bread

Pelican Lane, map room 8
Lich room 19361
a high-peaked white tent

[Brews and Bread]
Stark white cloth material swoops upward into a high peak, lending a spacious feel to the tent, and multiple blazing torches hanging from above light the area. Dotting the straw-covered ground, neatly stacked crates are topped with frothy mugs of ale. A low sideboard displays plates of bread and liquid-filled saucers. Sealed barrels and unused kegs are arranged behind and around the crates, clearly awaiting use. You also see a discolored wooden half-barrel carved with neat lettering.
Obvious paths: east, out

In the Common language, it reads:

The finest brews I bring to you
from the humble region of Oire,
where the flavors are rich,
the berries ripe,
and taste and quality are of the highest caliber!
Treat yourself to our hearty bread, made from
the very best grain
that we grow,
all farmed with great love and care.
TEAR the fresh-baked loaves,
then dip the pieces into
these special sauces that were
concocted in our very own kitchens.
Long may the Villaunne be blessed with good health!

On the wooden crate you see a mug of blonde cask ale, a flask of Hail Villaunne lager, a mug of caramel stout, a stein of strawberry stout, a flask of sweet-scented Toasted Ale, a mug of foamy Very Berry beer, a jug of spiced pumpkin beer, a cup of apple cider and a stein of Oire's Destiny brew.

Stronger here, the scent of freshly baked bread permeates everything in the room. A warm wood stove in one corner seems to be the culprit, along with a long wooden prep table laden with baked goods. Against one wall is a glass-fronted case filled with silverware, their surfaces glittering in the light of a round, glowing orb that dangles from the ceiling. A small window allows faint breezes to move the amber-beaded curtain hanging in the doorway, occasionally filling the room with musical tinkling sounds.

The Dwarven Table

Cormorant Lane, map room 15
Lich room 19370
a nondescript grey canvas tent

[The Dwarven Table]
Decorated to resemble the cozy interior of a dwarven home, delectable traditional food has been laid out upon tables arranged around the room. A sample breakfast is available on the table to the east, lunch to the north, and dinner to the west. To the south, a small stand of snacks is available for those with less heartier appettites. You also see a large informative sign.
Obvious exits: out

In the Common language, it reads:

Welcome to the Dwarven Table. Here, you can learn a little about traditional dwarven fare and taste some sample dishes. Enjoy!
Breakfast:
Breakfast is the most important meal for a dwarf heading off to work all day in the mines. This porridge is a common breakfast staple and is known as "berek." It is made from barley cooked with fermented milk. Mutton or other meat from last night's meal is normally added, but sometimes dried fruit is included as well.
Lunch:
Lunch is typically packed into small metal pails for easy transport into the mines. They are heated over communal fires at lunch time, where miners will talk about their mornings' work and expectations for the second half of the day. While the foods are uncomplicated, they are hearty enough to keep dwarves full for hours.
Dinner:
Dinners at home are a time to spend with family and friends, and meals are more elaborate. They are typically large and involve several meats including indigenous cave fish, such as snapjaw. It is important to have just more than enough food for all who sit at the dinner table.
Snacks:
Snacks are critical during the working day. Dwarves low on energy are more prone to accidents in the mine. These snacks are all easy to carry and filling. They include the typical fare of meat, barley, and fungi that are staples in the dwarven diet. Sarak is a dense barley bread laced with dried fruit.

On the breakfast table you see some fried oatcakes, a potato and mushroom hash, a tankard of draft cider, a stein of dark coffee stout and a bowl of thick barley porridge.

Multiple, chaotic heaps of food and spices are piled across the surfaces of the tables, paired up with tools, bowls, and other utensils used to extract and mix dyes, and some of the items are even nestled on several of the chairs and along the ground. Several figures wrapped in blue robes bustle about, moving quickly from one area to another, clearly focused on their work. A tattered blue curtain leads further into the stall. You also see a sign.

[Food In My Hair, Storage Area]
The stall's supports here are slightly disjointed, which causes the walls to look like they are bent over in areas. The overhead white canvas is torn in areas, allowing moonlight to spill in, partially illuminating the clutter of unopened crates marked as containing various types of food. Several small lanterns placed about the area provide further light.

a tri-peaked pastel striped pavilion

[Good Enough To Eat]
Bamboo poles create the frame of this pavilion, stretching tall as they rise to form a peak of pastel striped silk. Garlands of greenery festoon the supports at their joints, and tiny candles in small gold-swept jars suspended from wire hangers serve as rustic lighting. Clusters of pedestal displays form a half-circle at the rear of the pavilion, and nearby, a parchment note sits on a shelf along with a mesh pouch of coffee beans. A pastel flap leads out, while brightly flowered carpet runners encourage further investigation of the shop. You also see a large placard.
Obvious exits: northeast, northwest

Jars: Short and stout, these small jars appear to be the sort that would be used for preserving things like jams and jellies, though they've been repurposed now. On a bed of white sand in the bottom of each jar, a tiny candle sits, its flame flickering languidly to throw out honeyed light from behind the gold-painted interiors of the jars.

In the Common language, it reads:

This open-walled stall has a support structure of long, polished bamboo poles, and a ceiling crafted of large banana leaves. Several torches, set in the dirt at the corners, illuminate the room. A low bamboo counter runs the length of the stall in the center of the floor, and various containers for holding jewelry rest on top. You see various jewelry containers. Looking at the containers, you see a glass jewelry case, a mahogany jewelry tree and a velvet-lined onyx ring box.

In the jewelry case you see a kaleidoscopic saewehna macaw stickpin, a cluster of stained glass blossoms, a sea glass and coral toucan pin, a sunset garnet hibiscus brooch, a silver-strung green pearl anklet, a hemp-strung hematite orb anklet and a sea glass-set onyx-linked ferroniere.

Show: Formed of a mosaic arrangement of saewehna in a rainbow of vibrant hues, the platinum stickpin has been fashioned to capture the colorfully-plumed visage of an island macaw. Each kaleidoscopic gem is blurred with veins of silver, enhancing the backdrop of platinum that serves as the setting for each gem. Minute etchings form the face and talons of the macaw, purposely understated to not take away from the intensity of the vivid saewehna.

a makeshift wood-paneled shop

[Khuyler's Keep, Entry]
Heavy hides drape across the doorway, blocking out the bright moonlight, changes in temperature, and dust raised by the many trampling feet passing by at the festival. Off to one side and behind a long carved maple table, a couple of elven lasses stand at the ready to assist the shoppers perusing the various wares. A pastoral scene depicting rolling hills and vineyards is painted on the sectional panels set up to create this temporary shop, and the flat roof overhead has a small skylight opened to admit fresh air. You also see a hide-covered doorway, an old cedar cask and a big weathered tanik crate.
Obvious exits: north

On the carved maple table you see an almond cream-filled dariole, an anise comfit-coated marzipan, an elderflower sambocade, a golden treacle tart and a fig and apple-filled cuskynole.

Cask: Soaked with cold water and sitting just under the shade of the stall's canopy, the old cedar cask holds a variety of wines to enjoy while perusing the market.

In the old cedar cask you see a glass of pale dandelion wine, a glass of dark gorse wine, a glass of deep red claret, a glass of late harvest muscadelle and a glass of aromatic grape pyment.

Crate: The weathered tanik crate long ago lost its lid, making it a handy carry-all for the flasks of cordials and liqueurs stored here.

In the weathered tanik crate you see a flask of mint cordial, a flask of raspberry liqueur, a flask of lavender cordial, a flask of rose petal liqueur, a flask of anise cordial, a flask of plum liqueur and a flask of galingale cordial.

Cedar panels are fitted together to create a sturdy temporary structure that is quite moveable. Fanciful painting graces each smooth wooden surface, illustrating the various herbs and produce available from the fertile growing lands of Elanthia. Suspended from one of the crossbeam support joists holding the simple flat roof is a wide set of maple hooks, and opposite them is a low maple display case pushed against the wall. Fresh rushes are scattered along the ground, keeping dust and dirt from rising up to contaminate the wares. You also see a dull silver countertop with some stuff on it, a large oaken half-barrel and a small fruit-laden wheelbarrow.
Obvious exits: east, south

Hooks: Dangling from each peg are bundles of pipe tobacco bound carefully with a decorative ribbon.

On the set of maple hooks you see some tawny molasses pipe tobacco, some pale green apple pipe tobacco, some ochre rum pipe tobacco, some ebon black licorice pipe tobacco, some pale gold honey pipe tobacco, some dark brown clove pipe tobacco, some dark gold allspice pipe tobacco, some deep black walnut pipe tobacco, some pale brown pecan pipe tobacco, some rich umber cocoa pipe tobacco and some deep amber bourbon pipe tobacco.

[Taste of Turamzzyr, Entrance]
Sturdy wooden poles, bound with lengths of thick rope, provide a robust frame for the many layers of oilskin that form the walls and canopy of this rectangular showroom. Pine cases are stacked on pallets along either side of the tent's interior, leaving a moderate amount of walking space between them. Positioned in the middle of the walkway, a carved pine wine list fitted with a wrought silver candle plate offers enough light to clearly see in either direction. Tropical Tastes

Pelican Lane, map room 8
Lich room 19361
a large white wagon

[Tropical Tastes]
Surrounded on all sides by white-painted walls, the wagon's space is dominated by a long cloth-covered counter in the foreground and a polished wooden bar near the back. Behind the bar, a slim open doorway emits the faint scent of smoke and a flickering light. The floor is polished wooden planks, and displays several small table and chair sets that occupy the space in the most optimal way possible.
Obvious exits: out

Counter: A length of white cloth covers the counter from end to end, its edges hanging down on all sides in triangular points. Set on opposite ends, a large entree serving platter and a circular dessert tray offer delectable wares for sale. The center of the counter is dominated by a silk floral arrangement of tropical blooms wrapped around two white pillar candles.

Under the cloth-covered counter you see an etched glass mug with a toucan motif, a hollow coconut shell with a hole for a spout, a slender cocktail glass with a tiny paper parasol sticking out, a smooth steel flask incised with a flowery motif, a halved coconut shell with a hollow center, a stiff leather wineskin with a braided hemp strap, a thick cordial glass with a golden rim, a thin-stemmed cocktail glass painted with tiny pineapples, a dented steel flask with a weathered leather strap and a crystal decanter with rounded edges.

On the cloth-covered counter you see a circular dessert tray and a large entree serving platter.

On the dessert tray you see a cluster of succulent black grapes, a bowl of tropical fruit salad, a light crispy kiwi and mango meringue cake, a large grilled banana cake slice, some chunks of rum-infused pineapple, a glass dish of rich chocolate mousse, a cheese-stuffed plantain fritter and a grilled pineapple skewer.

On the entree serving platter you see a basket of fish and chips, a seared toucan kabob, a glass dish of soy-glazed raw tuna cubes, a few spears of lemon-drenched asparagus, a half-rack of barbecued pork ribs, a bowl of smoked pulled pork, a round pepper-flecked fishcake and a mango-glazed grilled chicken skewer.

On the wooden bar you see a fruit and spiced rum cocktail, a half-shell of pina colada smoothie, a glass vial of electric-violet absinthe, a cream-spiked chocolate stout, a glass of chilled blush sangria, a vodka-soaked melon ball cocktail, a lime-infused coconut and rum cocktail, a nutmeg-spied coconut cream drink, a papaya and guava ale, a pale green cucumber cocktail and a tankard of foamy barleywine ale.

[Tropical Tastes, Kitchen]
A wood stove in the corner casts a flickering light that illuminates the white-painted walls that surround this small room. The scent of smoke pervades the area, dispersed only by errant drafts that enter through a slim open doorway at the front of the room. A small wooden table stands against the wall beneath a picturesque window, the lantern on its surface emitting a golden glow and faint wisps of smoke that are slightly scented with citrus.
Obvious exits: none

On the wooden table you see a tall glass of chilled barley tea, a glass of milky green tea smoothie, a tall glass of iced milk coffee, a tropical fruit juice medley, a cup of iced chai tea and some lemon and mint-infused water.

The Upper Crust

Sandy Peninsula, map room 16
Lich room 19371
a sprawling blue and ivory striped pavilion

[The Upper Crust]
Walls of ivory-striped cornflower blue silk enclose the area of the tent, the fabric complementing the silvered glass case standing at the center of the room. Several flour-bedecked shelves showcase a variety of fillings, each portion carefully labeled and measured into ribbon-tied glass canisters. From the east, scents of fruit-filled pies waft through the ivory bead curtain, while the sounds of muffled voices emanate from a small alcove to the west. Obvious exits: west, out

In the silvered glass case you see a slice of fennel sausage pie, a slice of fluffy egg pie, a slice of creamy chicken pie, a slice of cheesy bacon pie and a slice of rich beef pie.

On the flour-bedecked shelves you see some coconut cream filling, some blackberry filling, some spiced hazelnut filling, some strawberry filling, some tangy cherry filling, some vanilla cream filling, some blueberry filling, some tart raspberry filling, some caramel apple filling, some mixed fruit filling, some succulent peach filling, some chocolate cream filling and a ball of sticky dough.

[The Upper Crust, Delivery]
Tucked away from the main room, this dimly lit corner is quieter in comparison to the other parts of the shop. Clusters of family portraits featuring beaming faces hang on the wall above a scuffed wooden bench, each one displaying a number of pies piled high in the background. Standing behind the long counter displaying a dark-inked sign is a tall baker with a mischievous grin, idly tapping a wooden spoon against a freshly baked pie.
Obvious exits: east

In the Common language, it reads:

Nothing says that you care quite like a hand delivered pie, and we here at Upper Crust are happy to help you send that caring message to all your friends. For a mere 10,000 silver, I will have one of my boys hand-deliver a pie to the person of your choosing. To get your order started, step up to counter with a pie in your right and GIVE BAKER.

Baker: Though well past middle aged, the lanky baker effervesces with youthful exuberance. Wide smudges of flour cover his face, accentuating the deep laugh lines at the corners of his twinkling green eyes.

[The Upper Crust, Kitchen]
In contrast to the well-kept front room, this small kitchen area is in a state of utter chaos. Towering stacks of pie tins, remnants of flaky crust and sticky filling still clinging to their edges, line the counters that ring the space. Amidst the carelessly spilled flour stands a large wooden island, its surface covered in globs of uncooked dough, which supports a large metal machine. A jumbled pattern of footprints on the messy floor, indicative of heavy traffic, leads back to the ivory bead curtain.
Obvious exits: none

Machine: While there are levers, knobs, and buttons all over this machine, they don't appear to do much. A small door on the front of the machine and a large, red-handled knob beside it seem to be the most important features. Many obvious repair jobs and miscellaneous dents on the machine give the impression that it has not been very reliable.
Possibly used to bake pies using dough and filling in main room

At regular intervals, gilt-based lamps are stationed around the perimeter of the area, creating a warmly lit space in which to browse wares. Beneath the flickering flames of nearby gilt-based lamps, an oak leaf-carved table and a silver harp-inlaid table guard the outer edges of this space, leaving the center aisle open so shoppers can browse. A silk banner hangs above each of the tables, their respective elven house crests painted in vibrant colors on the fine-spun fabric.

a red-splotched white tent

[Vinter is Coming, Wines]
An unfortunate drapery of white cloth shields the ground underfoot, spattered with blotches and dark stains that make the surroundings look like less of a tent and more of a murder scene. Three sputtering lanterns high in the makeshift eaves of the tent add to the illusion, casting the area in a fitful half-light. The smell of oil and smoke commingles with the slightly stale scent of wine that has known better days. You also see a red-splotched white tent flap and a dilapidated wooden table with some stuff on it.
