Dhask learns that Saelhir is said prophet.
Dhask lures Saelhir into the Luukosian temple hidden in Solhaven and kills Saelhir on the altar.
Rvain enters and completes the ritual with Saelhir, thus birthing the prophet.
Dhask believes he is cured, but later finds out it was only a temporary fix and that he did not fully remove the possession.
During one of Dhask's neighborhood raids on abandoned homes in Solhaven during the summer of 5109, Dhask discovers that he was never a Chastonian and stumbled upon his father's home. In the home in Ebondrift, Dhask finds a secret chamber with numerous volumes of journals.
Dhask realizes his curse still runs deep in his blood by the fall of 5109.
Dhask learns more about his possession through these journals. Upon leaving Solhaven and heading for the Dark Tower, Dhask is ambushed by four Order of Voln assassins. Fighting for his life, Dhask manages to kill three of the four assassins, while one gets away. Dhask tracks the assassin to vipershroud, but loses the assassin there.
Dhask hires some trackers in River's Rest and learns that there is a small hidden Order of Voln friary off the Locksehr trail. Dhask locates the friary and speaks to a monk there. The monk explains to Dhask that the Dark Tower is a sanctuary to Luukos and that they learned of the tower through a vision. The vision had showed the monk of the friary that a great evil would be born from the tower, which they believed was Dhask, hence the assassins.
Dhask learns that he doesn't have much time left before the posession completely takes over. The monk at the friary explains to Dhask how to finish the ritual, which involves Dhask to head back to the altar of Luukos and sacrificing himself with a white ora blade. By doing this, Dhask will clense his soul. The monk handed Dhask a clear glass orb that would teleport Dhask's corpse to a safe haven after the ritual to be prepared for life.
Dhask completes the ritual, but something goes wrong. Upon his transportation to the friary, a lich rises from Dhask's corpse. The monk struggles with the undead Dhask, but is able to destroy the lich and restore Dhask's life. In the process, the monk is weaken greatly and vanishes from the friary.
